Since apostolic times, our ancestors dedicated each day of the week to various events related to the earthly life and sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ, the memory of saints, and the glorification of the Lord's Angels. By the present time, prayer canons have been compiled for each day of the week, which are included in the second part of this book. The third part contains selected canons to the Lord, revered icons of the Mother of God and saints, whom we turn to for help in various needs. And whoever has the good will to turn to God, the Most Holy Mother of God, and the saints with the words of these canons, will receive help in sorrows, illnesses, and in the struggle against passions, just as the fathers of the Orthodox Church did who compiled these canons. The first part of the collection consists of traditional prayer books beloved by all Orthodox Christians.
