This book is a laboratory course dedicated to operating systems. The basics of the functioning of operating systems are set out, the composition of the computing system was investigated, the process of loading the operating system is considered, file systems and architecture of operating systems are analyzed, basic principles of security of operating systems, user rights distribution technologies are given. In addition, the internal security policy and the renewal policy, the principles of building a secure file system, ensure the protection of the operating system from attacks on computer networks, as well as a system of security of system software.
