In his new book, Kirill Kobrin analyzes the consciousness of Russian society and the Russian authorities a quarter of a century after the collapse of the USSR. The main character of the essays collected under this cover is "History". Firstly, the history of Russia is the last 25 years. Secondly, history as almost the main topic of public discussion in Russia, the reason for the painful obsession with the past, primarily Soviet. Thirdly, the book tells the numerous "stories" from the life of the country, cases that attracted the attention of society.
