The main topic of the textbook is the features of transformative forming, which contribute to the development of combinatorial thinking, enrich the palette of creative searches and innovative solutions of the product range at all stages and levels of its creation. The issues of figurative ascerative, modular, combinatorial, kinetic, technological transformations in a suit are considered.
The presentation of the material begins with a review of the general problems of the design and art culture of the XX century. Theoretical material is accompanied by visual schemes, the structure of which arranges the main semantic dominants of the conceptual attitudes of each project period. Methodical and theoretical attitudes to the development of transformative forming, the foundations of the theory of symmetric mesh ornaments are considered, the provisions of the evolutionary theory of symmetry of the costume are developing
