The book reveals the ideological grounds of national policy in the USSR and the Russian Federation. The main trends, problems and contradictions in the development of the people are traced at the stages of revolutionary transformations, great victories, defeats and hopes for the best future. Particular attention is paid to the Russian people as a system -forming nucleus of a new historical community, which has formed for a century.
