Having taken this book in his hands, the reader gets acquainted with the first, published in Russian, a monograph by one of the founders of the Frankfurt school - one of the leading schools in philosophy, sociology and other social sciences of the twentieth century. T. Adorno (1903-1969) immediately after the end of World War II becomes the leader of a major empirical study on the study of the roots of authoritarianism conducted in West Germany and the USA. The results of the study showed the danger of the drift of human worldview in the direction of strengthening the empty automatism of the established stereotypes, acts according to the rules, legalized only by one habit. Adorno found out a very symptomatic combination of personal features such as convention, humility of power, destructivism and cynicism very symptomatic for the anti -democratic structure.
