In the study proposed by the reader, the authors tried to give answers to the following questions: what will be the foreign policy of Japan in the new system of international relations after the end of the Cold War, how painful the process of its gradual transition from the pacifism policy of the second half of the twentieth century to the policy of the “normal state” with a strong one, The modern army and the fleet, what will be the most important features of its new foreign policy behavioral model and with the help of which instruments its ruling circles will realize its new course in the system of international relations of the 21st century.
The authors conducted the inventory of international relations of Japan at the beginning of the 21st century, studied the features of the formation of its foreign policy actions in the new world order, determined what the main world players can expect from Japan in the near future and that it itself can calculate from the world community in return.
