The monograph was written based on the results of field research conducted in the cities of Germany in the period 2005-2008. The center of sociological analysis is Russian-speaking emigrants of the last, so-called fourth, waves who began to move to Germany from the former Soviet Union and subsequently from the entire post-Soviet space from the Gorbachev perestroika era until the mid-2000s.
