The next volume of the Academic series "Peoples and Culture" is dedicated to the gypsies. The collective monograph discusses the main stages of the ethnic history of the people, the features of migration and the formation of ethnic groups in Russia, demographic processes and features of modern ethnosocial development of gypsies. Particular attention is paid to the complexes of the traditional culture of various ethnic groups of the people. Separate chapters of Tom are devoted to language, public life, calendar and family holidays and rituals, folklore tradition and professional culture.
