The book has become one of the most striking and original works in the history of mankind. Today it is known in Russia and China, the USA and Europe, in Japan and Arab countries. The work is a programmatic theoretical work in which the ideological foundations of the development of not only Libya, but also of all mankind are considered. The author opposed his concept to two dominant ideologies - atheistic communism and materialistic capitalism. In contrast to them, his third world theory was to become universal, and therefore claiming the absolute truth of the platform. It was based on the symbiosis of socialist ideas and the principles of Islam. Gaddafi’s book consists of three parts that consider the problems of democracy and economics, as well as social aspects. In particular, labor covers the problems of public legislation, remuneration, production management and other issues. It is more relevant than ever today, when there is an active search for new ways of social development.
