German Russophobia and its causes

We are witnesses of how Russophobia develops in society, reminiscent of the time of the height of the Cold War. Then the "Russian" was to blame for everything, now Putin and his empire. Where does this irrational antipathy come from, moreover: for what purpose is it planted? Why do the media, political and economic circles unanimously trumpet about the “worst enemy” in the East? Political scientist Stefan Bolinger undertook to explore the history of Russian-German relations. In his historical and political study, he shows that in former times, ups and falls occurred in these relations. Closing the most interesting aspects of this issue and the relationship characteristic of him, he reveals that the conflict with the Russians does not matter at what level and in what area it harms all its parties, and not least for those who consider it necessary to initiate this conflict. The author calls, on the one hand, to changes in relations with Russia, and on the other, to determine a clear political position, including taking into account the opinions of peaceful forces in Germany
