The monograph is devoted to the history of Soviet-German diplomatic and consular relations between the two world wars of the twentieth century. The Brest -Lithuanian Peace Treaty of 1918 terminated the almost four -year fierce confrontation of former military opponents, German and Russian empires, whose successors were two new states - the Weimar Republic and the Russian Socialist Federal Republic. He was followed by the Rapalsky Treaty of 1922, which opened the era of friendship, cooperation and mutual understanding between the two German and Russian European peoples that refused to be enmity. The focus is the German embassy in the capital of the USSR - Moscow and the German consulate in the capital of Siberia - Novosibirsk, whose activities are reflected in materials extracted from Russian and German archives
