The monograph is devoted to the development of the theory of management of complex media space for solving the problems of dehumanizing Russian society. The author offers methods of influencing the functional structure of the media space consisting of four large structural elements: media carriers, audiences, symbolic space and content (MASK) It was shown that at the stage of reflective modernity in this approach, the activity component receives justification, which allows more validly interpreting the reflection of media space both institutional structures and individual actors, and highlight the basic element of the system -activity analysis of the media spaceship - a systemic configurator. The work reveals the historical limitations of the positivist management of media space and set the task of strengthening such a cultural universal as humanism, which faces new challenges and requires the development of indicators of managerial processes of a socio -humanistic kind.
