"Poets Quebec" is the first anthology of Quebec poetry in Russian. The book covers a considerable period - from the beginning of the XIX century, when his own poetic tradition began to develop in French Canada, until today, rich in a variety of poetic writing and active publishing activities.
In the anthology, representing the work of 44 poets, classics and our contemporaries, there were three stages of the history of Quebec poetry: the first, formed by the middle of the XIX century, during which the statement of the national start, the second (first half of the 20th century), marked by the emerging The conflict between regionalism and "art for art", and the third, coincided with the beginning of the publishing boom, in which the Hexagon publishing house appeared in 1953 played the main role. The separate section of the anthology was given to the samples of poetic essays - one of the most popular genres of modern Canadian literature
