The poetry and prose of Viktor Krivulin (1944 - 2001) is a significant phenomenon in Russian literature and culture, covering both the Soviet and post-Soviet periods.
His work was aimed, on the one hand, at preserving and transmitting to new generations the cultural, ethical, and aesthetic values of the golden and silver ages of Russian poetry, and on the other hand, it was completely innovative in form and semantic richness.
Previous publications of Krivulin's poems and prose are scattered across various editions, some of which contain inaccuracies. The reader is offered a collection of Krivulin's poems and prose, compiled and commented on by the writer's widow, philologist Olga Kushlina, in two books.
Editors: O.B. Kushlina, M.Ya. Sheinker.
