This essay is an attempt to comprehend the role of a poetic word in critical periods of history. The author shows and approves the ability of poetry to influence the emotional sphere of man, shifting the vector of public sentiment in the direction of supporting revolutionary views. For the first time under a new, unexpected angle of view, numerous poetic texts of authors who belonged to completely different literary directions are presented. The book focuses on the fact that the poetics of destruction has their consequence the loss of spirituality, which leads to inconsistent killings and even greater immersion in the darkness of the evil. Poetic texts are supported by the statements of philosophers, sociologists and political figures. Along with poetic calls to violent actions in the name of a bright future, which is evil, the works in which warnings are sounding, the bells of the prophecies about future troubles.
