Alexey Porvin was born in 1982 in Leningrad. The poet, translator from English, German and French, also translates Russian poetry into English. The first poems of the "Darkness Bela" was published in the "Generation of the Book project of the magazine" Air "in 2009. Already in her was Nashichupan, the most peculiar synthesis of the classics and the avant-garde, sighabotonics and verlibes, the Russian poetic tradition and foreign language. In the new book, this synthesis acquires the program features of organic poetics.
