The great French poet Stefan Mallarme (1842-1898) is one of the founders of the Symbolism School, which has enormous influence on French poetry. Stephen Mallarm"s poetry is difficult to perceive, but is undoubtedly beautiful.
Mallarm often reproached in the dark, incomprehensibility, according to the writer and Esseyist Jules Renar, he "undue even into French". He really avoided directly calling things, convinced that to call the item means to destroy the pleasure from the poems, which consists in gradual soloing.
The poets as Innocent Annensky, Maximilian Voloshin, were addressed to Mallarm"s translations, Ilya Erenburg. However, most of the translations are represented only in the selection and poetic anthologies, only in 1995 the Publishing House of the Raduga was released a collection of Mallarm in the translations of the Roman Dubrovka. The bilingual collection of poems Stephen Mallarme is the most complete publication of the great French symbolist in Russia. In comparison with the 1995 collection, it is supplemented with new translations, and also accompanied by detailed translator comments
