Plants - sources of drugs and dietary supplements

In the training manual, the authors brought brief pharmacogenic information about 100 plants, on the basis of which various biologically active additives for functional nutrition are obtained, which affect mainly on the functions of the central nervous system. The structure of the publication provides sections that include information about the producing (drug) official plant, its distribution, biologically active substances accumulating in the plant and contained in its raw materials. Information about the use of raw materials for the production of drugs, its use in traditional medicine, the results of experimental-clinical studies of drugs and biologically active substances are given.
