The book contains a brief botanical description of about 200 species of medicinal plants, the bulk of which was allowed to use the Pharmacological Committee of the USSR Ministry of Health, the areas of their growth and cultivation are indicated, information about rational methods of harvesting, drying and storage of raw materials, as well as its chemical composition. Data on the content of specific natural compounds is presented, the presence of which is associated with the therapeutic effect of medicinal plants. Their macro- and microelement composition is described in detail. The dosage forms and their medical meaning are indicated.
