The textbook is aimed at developing a scientific and practical understanding of the peculiarities of planning training loads for athletes in winter sports within the macrocycles of the training process. The manual is based on the results of scientific research carried out as part of the state assignment of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Research Institute for Physical Culture and Sports", and includes scientific and methodological materials. Working with this manual will help students form an integrated understanding of the adaptive mechanisms underlying pedagogical decisions in managing the training process.
