The name of the writer Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900-1944) is known to everyone. They say, however, that if there weren’t a pilot Saint-Exupery, there would have been no writer ... The book includes two works: a collection of essays "Planet of People" (1939) and the novel "Night Flight" (1930), translated by outstanding representatives of the domestic school Translation by Nora Gal and Maurice Waxmacher.
The greatness of all crafts, perhaps, may first of all, that it unites people: for there is nothing more precious than the bond in the world, connecting a person with a person. Working only for the sake of material wealth, we are building a prison for ourselves. And we locked ourselves alone, and all our wealth is ashes and ashes, they are powerless to deliver to us what to live for.
