Beginning of the 1980s. Military pilot-instructor Captain Alexey Shevtsov is sent to Algeria to train the flight crew. The arrival of a Soviet specialist sparked genuine interest among the local military. Especially among those who do not sympathize with the USSR too much. Some of the trainees directly provoke the captain, but he tries not to react to their schemes. Everything changes abruptly when Shevtsov, together with his friend, supposedly accidentally finds himself over the territory of a neighboring state during a training flight...
