Physics of Non-Ideal Plasma

The book is devoted to the high density plasma, compressed so much that the energy of inter-partic interaction becomes comparable to the kinetic energy of the thermal motion. Most of the substance of the universe is located in this exotic state. The methods of generation and diagnosis of nonideal plasma are considered. The results of experimental studies of thermodynamic, portable and optical properties are presented. Particular attention is paid to rapidly developing new directions of physics of non-ideal plasma, such as metallization of dielectrics and dielectric metals, a single-charge plasma, the dust of the plasma and its crystallization.
