Physics Course Problem Solving Workshop. Fundamentals of Quantum Physics. Structure of Matter. Atomic and Nuclear

The study of the course creates a basis for the development of the ability to navigate in a heavy stream of scientific and technical information, timely recognize promising scientific areas, assessed the possibility of their practical use and calculate the consequences of certain technological innovations. A collection of tasks with examples of solutions and tasks for independent work and control sessions is proposed. The manual disassembled in detail typical tasks characteristic of a particular theoretical partition, and tasks are given for independent work with answers for self-control. One of the goals of the course is to educate the culture of a systematic approach, logical thinking skills, habits to think about the results, to build the right working hypotheses and clearly formulate the task.
