The textbook of the physics of the new generation is written in the author"s program corresponding to the approximate program in physics. It is intended for students of 11 classes studying physics on the profile level. In part 2 of the textbook, the heads "geometric optics", "elements of the special theory of relativity", "basic concepts and patterns of quantum physics", "atomic kernel physics", "universe", "Fundamental generalizations of physics", "modern ideas about the evolution of the Universe" .
The main focus is on the scientific method of knowledge of nature, which is revealed when studying the sections of the course of class 11 physics. This method is expressed in an experimental study of the phenomena of nature, building the hypotheses and the choice of models, obtaining the consequences of the theory, the use of new knowledge to understand the physical phenomena and the principle of operation of technical installations.
In the textbook there is a level differentiation: the material that is intended for students, manifesting an increased interest in physics, is marked by the "asterisk".
The textbook can be used for schools and classes with in-depth study of physics, lyceums and gymnasiums, as well as to prepare for exams in universities and self-education
