The monograph presents the results of a comprehensive study of melts of oxides and metallurgical toxins from theoretical models to experimental methods and practical applications. The basic ideas about the nature of interpertured interaction in oxides and slag melts, the relationship of their physicochemical properties and structures are considered, and the original results of computer modeling of one, two and multicomponent oxides are given, the results of modeling real slag systems containing up to ten elements were first obtained. The methods of experimental studies of density, viscosity, surface tension and electrical conductivity of high -temperature slags are considered and the results of experimental studies of these systems were discussed
