The book discusses disputes about the status of astrology, which unfolded in Renaissance Italy at the end of the XV-early XVI century. The reason for the discussion was the publication in 1496 of the last treatise Giovanni Pico Della Mirandol (1463-1494) "Reasoning against the so-time astrology". Highlighted by the education and breadth of interests even against the background of his contemporaries and, during his lifetime, became a legend, Giovanni Pico has been astrology of crushing criticism.
