The essay of the screaming German philosopher Max Scheler (1874-1928) to the idea of man (1914) represents his philosophical and anthropological views in the middle period of work (1912-1922) In Russian is published for the first time. In a number of other works of Sheler, the essay is distinguished by the fact that it represented by its neo -Gomboldian philosophy of the language. In the accompanying article, an updated historical and philosophical periodization of the creative path of the German thinker is justified.
