The German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) belongs to the number of thinkers who have received truly world fame. Nietzsche"s philosophy is the philosophy of life. He questioned the existing principles of morality, religion, psychology, the very truth as the basis of the world, the possibility of a rational explanation of actions. In his most famous book “So Zarathustra said”, he creates the image of a superman who should surpass modern people as much as they surpass the monkey. The superman is the pinnacle of the development of the human species, and its prototypes, or “unsurpassed virtuosos of life” were Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Napoleon, whose powerful will directed the course of history. Nietzsche set his views with the help of metaphors and aphorisms, which gained the glory of the great stylist and one of the most brilliant minds of the era. His original ideas survived their creator for a century and largely determined the philosophy of the 20th century
