The book of the Russian religious philosopher and publicist D.V.Krynchenko (1874-1947) is reprinted a century after its release. The author offers a theological analysis of the understanding of life in science and religion, thereby solving one of the most important problems of Orthodox anthropology --- the problem of the value of life.
