In the book “The rise of analytical philosophy 1879–1930: from Frege to Ramsey”, Michael Potter offers a fresh and convincing picture of the birth of modern analytical philosophy, considered through the prism of detailed study of the work of four philosophers who made the greatest contribution to its formation: Gottloba Frege, Bertrane Russell, Bertrane, Ludwia Wittgenstein and Frank Ramsey. It covers a wonderful period of discoveries, which began with the publication of the book by Frege Begriffsschrift in 1879 and ended with the death of Ramsey in 1930.
