The book analyzes problems (the crisis of a modern person, a statement about the death of a subject and culture, a clash of different ideals of life, etc), forcing to create a new philosophical discipline - a philosophy of subjectivity. The subject of the philosophy of subjectivity is discussed. From the point of view of the author, subjectivity is a form of awareness (conceptualization) of a person who has developed in ancient culture and further in the following cultures (medieval, renaissance, new and modern times), underwent a transformation and developed. Not only the conscious aspects and aspects of personality life, but also forms of conceptualization on the basis of which this awareness occurs, play essential for the content of subjectivity. Four main stages of the formation of subjectivity (in ancient culture, in the Middle Ages, within the framework of the Cartesian-Kantian picture, in postmodern) are considered. Such forms of subjectivity as love, scientific creativity, experience of works of art, technical consciousness, constitution of their life, understanding of health are characterized.
