The book reveals arguments, contradictions and the boundaries of the philosophy of logical atomism. Separate variants of the logical atomism of Russell are identified and the characteristic of each of them is given. Wittgenstein"s philosophical ideas are classified and qualified on the basis of detailed analysis and comparison of aphorisms "Diaries of 1914-1916" and "Treatise", his many letters, as well as memories of it. An attempt is made to analyze in a new way his logical and philosophical concepts on the basis of his "theory of symbols" and "theory of expression". The results of the analysis, which is made in the work, can serve as the basis for further study of logical atomism, logical positivism, as well as Oxford philosophy of an ordinary language.
The book is intended for students, graduate students and university teachers of not only logic and philosophy, but also the theory of language and theory of sciences
