"Way of Life" is the final work of the great Russian writer and thinker Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy, published in 1910. This is a collection of wise thoughts of the author, quotes of great writers, philosophers and religious figures, as well as parables, proverbs and sayings.
The book is a fruit of many years of thought of Tolstoy over the problems of meaning and the benefits of human existence. The author is trying to answer a number of questions that are the most important for any person: what does it mean to live in conscience and mind, what are the ways of spiritual unity of people with each other and with God, how to get rid of sins, temptations and superstitions, etc.
Tolstoy said that the most important thoughts of all were selected in this book, and they are located in a certain order that has an internal meaning.
