A modern person has no doubt that he knows how to think. And he is right, especially if you compare his thoughts with how animals think. He clearly thinks better, evidence of which he is that he lives better than animals, he is a lord, and they either serve him, or go to food ...
What we can think, it is not a question, the question is, enough Do we think well? I am a storyteller and mythologist, so I will allow myself to express a fabulous hypothesis.
When the gods decided to create a mind, they needed a carrier of this divine gun. And they instilled him with different animals. All animals became reasonable to one degree or another. Who is more, who is smaller. But none of them stepped over the line of animal thinking, and therefore there was no one like the gods.
Then the search for the most suitable carrier began, and experiments were conducted for several hundred thousand years. Different types of higher monkeys - hominid - instilled the mind of a higher level. But this vaccine was not at all safe for a weak creature. Therefore, all the carriers of the mind died out one after another, which gave rise to the myth of the change of generations of people.
And only the so -called Cro -Magnon, or a man of modern appearance, withstand the vaccine and survived. And he became the king of animals. Whether he will be able to survive after the next vaccine, or whether the gods will have to derive the following species of homo sapiens is not clear. It is not clear whether a person of a modern look really not only survived from the vaccination of the mind, but also became reasonable in the sense in which it was expected ...
Of course, individual individuals are approaching the plan. They open up new possibilities of reason. And what are the rest of the kings of nature? No matter how sad it is, but they, like a herd of monkeys, simply use ready -made solutions, acting not just according to samples, but also thoughtlessly ...
as an example, you can use logic. Several mighty Greeks described the work of the mind as the work of a logo or dianea, so they were able to apply these discoveries to create an art of effective speech - rhetoric. The description itself after a couple of centuries after its appearance was called logic.
We all know that logic is strong. We even use the words in our speech: "logical? Logical! " These words have nothing to do with logic and are not logical terms. They are only signs of persuasiveness, a kind of magic or magical words. So the bulk of the homo did not really master the discoveries, made two and a half thousand years ago.
Logic, as a science of accurate reasoning, floats with a tiny spot of oil on the surface of the ocean of reasoning that people commit daily. The reasoning themselves is only one part of the general flow of speech, which includes the narrative with the description and questioning.
And at the same time, everything that we see around us and have as our world - personal or common to all of humanity - had reasoning in its basis. When we have amenities, the reasoning is based on how to make life better and not suffer. When we have wars and devastation, the reasoning that led to this is based.
Wars are especially clearly shown that our reasoning is not only not logical, but simply not true. They build ways to goals, but these paths are often erroneous. Why?
Because the body of reasoning - reason - is often damaged, and therefore works poorly. But we do not correct it, since in our culture, inherited from humanoid monkeys, there is not even such a thing that mind and reason, like any guns, can be damaged, but you can repair, debug it and develop
