The subject of the book is the methodological culture of the scientist. Its formation is carried out in two ways: 1) the assimilation of the technology of scientific activity among mentors in a university or laboratory and 2) assimilation of the history of the methodology of science and the choice of one of the methodological traditions created by famous scientists and philosophers. In the history of the methodology of science, two large stages can be distinguished: classic and non -classical. The classic stage began with the formation of the science of the New Age and lasted until the 20th century. The non -classical stage is the era of modern science. The general methodological trend of this transition was to rejection of methodological monism in favor of the methodological pluralism of science, but not additive pluralism (the concept of Feyerabend), but systemic.
