The History of Medieval Philosophy, A. Shtoklya, first published in the Moscow publishing house V.M. Sablin in 1912 is a fragment of a textbook of a famous German author, which covers the Middle Ages itself from the Carolingian Renaissance to the first stage of the Hundred Years War. Antique philosophers appear before the reader who accepted their ideas Arab, Jewish and Christian thinkers. This book is also interesting as an illustration of how and what the Catholic youth of Germany, Britain and other countries studied for many years, and as a monument of its time. People who also entered the history of thought took part in the preparation of her first Russian translation, this time already domestic. The publication is first reproduced in modern spelling
