Lev Ilyich Mechnikov (1838-1888)-Russian-Switzar geographer, historian, writer and revolutionary, friend of Bakunin and Kropotkin. The real edition included two of his works, the "cultural significance of demonism" (1879) and "Soul hygiene" (1878) - in the first the author talks about demons that climb out to us, and in the second about the demons tormenting us from the inside. Despite the fact that Mechnikov lived abroad most of his life, his texts are written in an excellent literary language resembling the language of Leskov and Gogol, and not impersonal modern dissertation studies. The application to the book publishes the texts of the Doctor of Psychological Sciences Oleg Lishin and his wife, teacher and historian Arkady Lishin, dedicated to the life and activities of Leo Mechnikov and based on rare archival materials
