The book "ABC of anarchism", written by a prominent American anarchist of Russian origin, Alexander Berkman, the famous historian Paul Avrich called the most clear presentation of communist anarchism in English and any other language. " In this work, in a simple and clear form, the main provisions of the anarch-communist doctrine and tactics are clarified: criticism of the state, capitalism and Bolshevism, the rationale for the values of freedom and equality, the idea of the methods of struggle of direct action, the social revolution and without a state social structure based on universal self-government . The publication also includes excerpts dedicated to the Kronstadt uprising from the diary that Berkman conducted in Soviet Russia in 1920-1921, as well as his article on Kronstadt of 1921.
