The book of the historian of the philosophy of the Silver Age N.K. Bonnetskoy includes the spiritual portraits of the sisters of Hertsyk - Adelaide (1874-1925), the poet and essayist, and Eugene (1878-1944), the author of the wonderful memories of Russian philosophers, the gifted writer, which N. Berdyaev called “one of the most striking women of the beginning of the beginning XX century . “The sisters of Hermtsyk belonged to those wonderful Russian women, for whom to live spiritually burning,” as if supplemented by Berdyaev’s judgment, philosopher F. Stepun. The author of the monograph does not just excitingly talk about the creativity and life of the sisters (which was also creativity in itself), but also seeks to reveal the internal patterns of their biographies. Therefore, the book is a genre model of biographics - a discipline conceived by P. Florensky. Portraits of the sisters of Hermtsyk are presented against the background of the spiritual culture of the Silver Age
