Science in its history. The view of the philosopher

The book discusses the philosophical and methodological problems of the history of science. They are based on the results of many years of research of the author of the quality category in antiquity, as well as the ideas of the plurality of worlds and the role of hermetic impulse in the genesis of New European science. An important place is given to the problem of interpretation of the Scientific and Philosium text, the ratio of traditions and innovations in science, the importance of social structures and culture as factors in the development of scientific knowledge. The last section of the book is devoted to personal memories of the famous Soviet and Russian philosophers and scientists who were engaged in the methodology and philosophy of science, with whom the author was lucky to work together, and about the intellectual atmosphere of the era of raising domestic research in the field of methodology and philosophy of science and its history.
The book is intended for those interested in the history and philosophy of science and the history of research of its philosophical and methodological problems in our country in recent decades of the twentieth century.
