"Sadhana" (1915) is a collection of essays dedicated to Indian culture, religion, philosophy. These essays were written on the material of the lectures of Rabindranate Tagore, read at the University of Bolkur in Bengal. Subsequently, the author read them at Harvard University. A feature of this book, distinguishing it from other Indian philosophical works, is its orientation on the Western reader, not familiar or only superficially familiar with the ancient wisdom of India
