The book publishes selected reports made at the III and IV international meetings of philosophers held on the initiative of the International Institute for the Development of Research and the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The III meeting was held on May 25-26, 2015 in Istanbul and was dedicated to the topic "Philosophy and literature: philosophy in literature, literature in philosophy." The speeches of the participants were affected by a wide range of problems: from the perception of European art with Islamic masters to the problems of its philosophical interpretation and the significance of religious revelation for the development of philosophy in the East and West. IV International Meeting "Philosophy and Culture in the context of the global challenges of our time" took place on May 23, 2016 in Alma-Ata. In the reports of the participants, topics such as the state and prospects of intercultural dialogue, the problem of the development of science, culture and education in the 21st century, philosophy and ways to solve the global problems of modernity, and update the national philosophical and cultural heritage were discussed. The book can be recommended to both specialists and a wide circle of readers
