In the book "Richard Rorty:" Marginal Analytical Philosopher ", author of Tselishchev O.I. Explains why the famous philosopher-pragmatist Richard Rorty called himself a "marginal analytical philosopher", despite the common opinion that he was an enemy of analytical philosophy. The author claims that the evolution of the attitude of Rorty towards it - from sharp criticism to recognition - showed the multiplicity of the philosopher, who has gone from the revisionist and relativist to the philosophical "ecumenist", and finally, the syncretist in the prophecy of the era of post -philosophy. The book uses numerous articles of Rorti, giving a much greater understanding of his philosophy and personality than the usual reading of the classics of modern philosophy "philosophy and the mirror of nature"
