Reasoning about the method

Rene Descartes is the founder of a new rationalist philosophy, belongs to the number of outstanding European thinkers. Cartesianism (from Cartesius - the Latinized name of Descartes) has become a kind of object of a philosophical cult. Until now, his ideas not only study, but also profess. Every reader will feel the charm of Descartes"s thought. The present edition included the three most important treatises of Rene Descartes: “Search for Truth”, “Reasoning about the method” (published in a new, modern translation) and “Reflections on the first philosophy”. As an application, T. Hobbes"s work is presented. The publication includes a large reference apparatus: an introductory article and a detailed commentary
