In this educational-methodical complex (UMK), which was the result of many years of practice of professional philosophers-methodologists, the fundamental synthesis of the "abstract-theoretical" and "popularization" approaches to the presentation of discipline was original. Philosophy is represented not only as a fundamental, systematically organized science, but also as the highest embodiment of a living, developed, “seeking "thinking, as a general methodology for understanding life and its foundations (and through this, the strategy of this life), as an aesthetically perfect“ game of mind ” As a self -valuable spiritual practice, as a basic knowledge necessary for a full -fledged socialization of a person. The UMC undertakes a deep theoretical and practical immersion in all the main sections of philosophy and their problems, and philosophy as a whole is interpreted as its extremely logical history. Particular attention is paid to the problems most relevant at the present stage (moral dilemmas and the problem of social responsibility, the fate of Russia and the ways of its historical development, criticism of consumer ideology), as well as a comparative analysis of various philosophical doctrines. Many conflicts are presented in the form of bright, “exploding the brain” of the moves of thought, and often paradoxes, the solution of which requires a radical exit beyond the world of everyday life, the transition to other levels of thinking and spiritual development of the individual. The teaching materials contains a large practical part (tests, puzzles, entertaining tasks), numerous thematic collections of philosophical aphorisms, as well as a number of materials from the series “Philosophers joke”. In some cases, author"s productions and reconstruction of philosophical problems are given. The textbook is written by a lively, vivid, affordable, "interactive" language, it is aimed not only on the mastery of the very foundations of philosophy, but also to increase general cultural erudition, the development of flexible, creative, non -standard thinking, the education of intellectual taste, the formation of the “art of surprise”, necessary for genuine interest in life
