Comparing the study of the language in the philosophy of positivism, empirical, hermeneutical, phenomenological and existentialist types of philosophy, the author identifies the logical, psychological, semiotic, cultural and metallinguistic approaches that collect the cycle of humanities on the interdisciplinary basis that learned the language. Only an interdisciplinary approach translates an abstract ideal philosophical level of language to understanding his participation in the cultural process. The orientation of linguistic communication on the cultural process has a practical orientation.
