P. Ya. Chaadaev (1794 1856), an outstanding Russian thinker and publicist, during his lifetime published only one of his work of his first letter of “philosophical letters”, after which he was declared crazy and deprived of the right to be printed. Nevertheless, Chaadaev had a powerful influence on Russian thought and literature of the 19th century. Pushkin, Herzen, Tyutchev, Zhukovsky were written about him and referred to him. Chaadaev was compared with Pascal and Laroshfuko. The deep mind, honor and active love for Russia is illuminated by the heritage of P. Ya. Chaadaev, leaving him an actual Russian thinker and for the modern reader
