The book is devoted to the study of English identity, which the author considers as a product of intensive and dramatic dialogue between Celtic and German principles in the context of Anglo-British civilization. The Anglo-British dasein, according to the author, does not constitute an independent logos (unlike German and French logos), but represents a unique, sometimes conflict combination of both. According to the author, the leading role of England in the development and promotion on the planetary scale of the paradigm of the New Age is the logical consequence of the internal conflict of the Anglo-British civilization, at a certain stage, which formulated the set of the main principles of modernity: nominalism, scientific and materialistic picture of the world, liberalism, market, individualism, talassocracy .
The book continues the series of works "Noomachy", which aims to explore the ratio of three logos (Apollo, Dionysus, Cybeles) through the history of various civilizations. This work specifies and complements the second section ("Logos of Europe") of the NOOMAHIA project.
